Quick answer

If you want one booking that covers the ticket, a meal before the game and a drink at it, the package is the simplest route, and you can cancel up to 24 hours ahead when you book through GetYourGuide. If you only want the game ticket, book on a club's site or the platforms it names, or go to the stadium's ticket office with your passport. First check which ground your date is at: Jamsil Baseball Stadium is due to close after the 2026 season.

First, which stadium is it?

Jamsil Baseball Stadium is the shared home of the LG Twins and the Doosan Bears. It is due to be torn down after the 2026 season to make room for a domed ballpark. Seoul city's plan has both clubs playing the 2027 to 2031 seasons at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, part of the same sports complex, while the new one is built. So before you book, look at which ground your date is at. The booking calendar and your confirmation show the details for your game, and a plan can change, so check again close to your trip.

What the package includes

The package is a ticket to a KBO game at Jamsil, a meal before it and a drink at it. The meal is usually Korean barbecue or a Korean fried-chicken dish, and the drink is one beer or soft drink. Your group meets at Sports Complex Station, at exit 1 or exit 8 depending on the option you choose, and messages after booking give the details. The whole outing runs about 4.5 hours. The booking is marked wheelchair accessible, and on select dates you can reserve now and pay later.

  • Included: the game ticket, a pre-game meal, one beer or soft drink
  • On top: anything extra you buy at the stadium
  • Bring: your passport or an ID card
  • Not allowed in: glass objects, weapons or sharp objects; backpacks are fine

What the package doesn't promise

The booking covers the ticket and the meal, but it does not guarantee a specific seat. There are multiple groups for this tour, and the operator sends most of the detail after you book, so read those messages through to the event date. If you are travelling together, put everyone on one booking rather than several, because separate bookings may not sit together. If heavy rain is likely, the venue may be moved, and you get a full refund if you don't agree to the change.

Booking online yourself

The LG Twins open sales for each home game seven days ahead through their site and app, and Ticketlink handles booking questions. Other clubs sell through their own sites and platforms such as Ticketlink Global and NOL World. Some ticketing apps need a Korean phone number, which can stop a visitor at registration. Rivalry games and games at Jamsil sell out quickly, so the week before is the moment to book. The Twins' page sets a per-person limit and a cancellation window, with a fee on most cancellations, so read the terms before you pay.

The passport window at the stadium

The Twins' ticket page describes a window for international visitors: Ticket Office No. 3, the Digital Assistance Window, on the left after Exit 5 of Sports Complex Station. You need a valid passport, tickets are first come, first served, and the number per person is capped. It opens ahead of the game, earlier on weekends and holidays, and the page says it can close early if tickets run out. Seats for this window are limited, so treat it as a plan B, not a plan for a night you can't move.

Which route suits you

Choose the package if you want the ticket, meal and drink arranged in one go, with a meeting point and no need to work out the Korean booking systems. Choose online booking if you want to pick your own section and can get through registration. Choose the stadium ticket office if your plans are loose and a game is a bonus. The package is a service on top of the game, so compare what you need, a seat alone or the whole evening, rather than assuming one route is simply better than the others.

Which club you'll see

The LG Twins and the Doosan Bears share Jamsil, so the home crowd, colours and chants depend on your date. LG's balloon sticks are red and Doosan's are white. Rivalry games sell out fastest. The package doesn't let you pick the club, so choose a date for the club you'd like to be surrounded by, and look at the schedule on the KBO's English site before you commit. The home club for each date is listed there.

Seats and sections

KBO crowds do not sit still. In the cheering sections you are expected to stand and join in while your club bats, and to stay quieter while the other side bats. The Twins' page also sells seats in the Exciting Zone, close to the field, and says children below elementary-school age cannot enter it. Outfield seats at Jamsil were refitted with folding chairs before the 2020 season. If you want a calmer seat, book direct and look at the section before you pay.

How the season works

The KBO has ten clubs, and each plays 144 games in a regular season, 16 against every rival. Teams usually play six games a week, with Monday off. The regular season runs from spring into early autumn, followed by a post-season, so dates in deep winter have no game. In the post-season, the early rounds are played at the home grounds of the higher-placed clubs, so a game at Jamsil then depends on where the clubs finish. Check the booking calendar rather than assuming a game on your dates.

A short checklist before you pay

Whichever route you pick, run through the same few checks before you pay. They take a few minutes, they apply to the package and to a ticket bought direct, and they cover the points where this stadium differs most from what a first-time visitor expects. Two of them, the venue and the club, depend on your date, so look at the calendar first.

  • Which stadium: Jamsil or the Olympic Stadium next door
  • Which club is at home on your date
  • Your passport or ID is with you, not in the hotel safe
  • Everyone in your group is on one booking
  • You have read the messages sent after booking

Who this isn't for

If you want to choose your exact seat, the package is the wrong tool. If you'd rather not meet a group or have a set meal before the game, a ticket alone is simpler. If you are visiting after the 2026 season, check where the game is being played, because Jamsil Baseball Stadium is due to close. And if your dates are fixed and you cannot risk a sell-out, book early rather than counting on the ticket office.

Frequently asked questions

Can a tourist buy KBO tickets online?

Yes, but with some friction. Clubs sell through their own sites and platforms such as Ticketlink Global and NOL World, and some apps need a Korean phone number. Tickets go on sale about a week before each game, so set aside time for registration before then.

Can I just turn up on the day?

Sometimes. Stadium ticket offices sell on the day, and the Twins list a passport window for international visitors. Rivalry games and games at Jamsil sell out quickly, so don't rely on it for a fixed night. Arrive early if you try.

Does the package guarantee my seat?

No. It covers the ticket and the meal but doesn't guarantee a specific seat. If you travel together, book everyone in one booking, and read the messages the operator sends after you book.

What is included in the package?

A game ticket, a pre-game meal (usually Korean barbecue or fried chicken) and one beer or soft drink. The group meets at Sports Complex Station, and the outing runs about 4.5 hours in total.

Can I cancel the package?

Yes, free up to 24 hours before when booked through GetYourGuide, with a full refund. Tickets bought direct follow the club's terms. If heavy rain is likely and the venue changes, you get a full refund if you decline.

Will games be played at Jamsil in 2027?

Not at this stadium as planned. It is due to be torn down after the 2026 season, and the clubs are due to play at the Seoul Olympic Stadium for 2027 to 2031. Check the booking calendar for your date.
